Community Money-Saving Class: Essential Skills for Healthy, Affordable Cooking

Join us for a hands-on, money-saving class where you’ll learn essential skills for making healthy, affordable meals and condiments. This class will teach you how to create key ingredients that are not only costly at the store but often contain unhealthy oils and low-quality ingredients.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Mayonnaise: Versatile and adaptable, we’ll make traditional mayonnaise, fermented mayonnaise with garlic, and a variety of flavored mayonnaise options.
  • Soups: Learn to make high-collagen, organic, and biodynamic chicken-based soups like wonton soup, chicken noodle soup, and egg drop soup.
  • Pickling and Sauerkraut: With the growing season upon us, we’ll cover the basics of pickling and making sauerkraut. These shelf-stable additions are perfect for enhancing your meals and charcuterie boards all season long.

Participants will take home one jar of fresh mayonnaise and one pickled product.
